Our Terms and Conditions of sale


Our reproductions of the classics are simply that “REPRODUCTIONS”. They cannot and should not be called “ORIGINALS”. In some cases the original names might have copyright protection or have a trade mark thus all customers must point out that the furniture is a reproduction not original. All the classic furniture is made to the highest standard matching the originals. Your Statutory Rights are not affected by any of the following terms and conditions.


Once we receive payment an email will be sent to the address provided in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding between us.


The price payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website and includes Irish VAT at 23%.   Shipping prices are charged separately and can be seen on each product page or at the checkout stage when you have chosen the country delivery address.


Payment takes place immediately after your order has been made.  Payment options are: credit, debit cards or bank transfer, without any deductions.  From time to time our suppliers may increase prices, impose duties, tax charges or if we have made a typographical or there is a system error showing the incorrect price, we are entitled to amend the price. If this does happen we will inform you before your item has been shipped.


The prices on our site are Ireland VAT inclusive. Foreign orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches its destination country, you must check with your local authorities to find out what charges are applicable.


We have tried to get the actual colors of our products represented on the website but to be 100% accurate is almost impossible due to the configurations of the users' screen.  All goods are covered by 12 month guarantee due to manufacturing faults. The goods will be repaired by us. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, any buttons or similar fixings, neglect, and misuse. If no fault is found the full cost of the shipping of the item back to us will be charged to your credit card.

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any monies already paid for them. Most manufactured to order items have a lead time of 3-8 weeks but sometimes delivery may take up to 10-12 weeks but please view individual products on the site for approximate lead times.

The total price you pay for the goods will be shown at the checkout. Walton Furniture Ltd. is entitled to adjust the advertised price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, the imposition of any new taxes or duties, typographical error, error in pricing information from suppliers or website database error. Should Walton Furniture Ltd have cause to adjust the price you will be offered the opportunity to cancel the order before the dispatch of the goods and notified as soon as possible.

All lead times are approximations and are subject to change.


You may cancel your order with us up to the end of the 3rd day from the date your order was placed (within 24 hours for express orders) , providing your items have not already been sent. To cancel your order you must notify us in writing to admin@waltonfurniture.com quoting your name and order reference number.  If you wish to cancel your order after the 3rd day but before it has been shipped, you will occur a fee of 50% which will be deducted from the original price to contribute towards material and production costs. Orders cannot be cancelled once the item has been shipped from our warehouse Pre-order & bulk orders for trade customers cannot be cancelled once confirmed either in writing or on receiving deposit payment.


Overseas buyers must obtain all necessary customs permits and pay any import duties if applicable to import products from our company. Customs policies differ from country to country, which may result in indirect customs related costs in addition to the directly related customs costs charged by the courier. Customers typically should contact their local customs office if more information is required about this. Walton Furniture Ltd. will have no control over applicable customs policies. You agree that you are the sole importer of the product(s) and are responsible for all import duties and taxes, and any related levies for the purchase of your product(s).


We or any other party (whether or not involved in creating, producing, maintaining or delivering this website) and any of our officers, directors, employees, shareholders or agents, exclude all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to you or a third party including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of income, profits goodwill, data, contracts, use of money, or loss or damages arising from or connected in any way to business interruption and whether in tort (including without limitation negligence) , contract or otherwise in connection with this website in anyway or in connection with use, inability to use or the results of the use of this website, any websites linked to this website or material on such websites, including but not limited to loss or damage due to viruses that may infect your computer equipment, software, data or other property on account of your access to, use of or browsing this website or your downloading of any material from this website or any websites linked to this website.


All our products are covered by a 1 year guarantee starts from the date of delivery and offers cover against manufacturing defects which may arise, under normal use, through faulty factory workmanship. Our warranty can be extended for a fee to a maximum total length of 5 years. These guarantees do not cover fair wear and tear, neglect, abuse or misuse of your goods, loss or damage (including rusting and corrosion) due to unreasonable exposure to water, heat or weather; loss or damage due to fire, smoke, explosion, lightning, sunlight, infestation by animals or boring insects, or theft, or accidental damage or loss caused by a third party, Guarantees may not be transferred.


We aim to deliver products within 3-8 weeks however depending on availability it may take up to 10-12 weeks to deliver. See FAQ's page.


Unless otherwise expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, all notices from you to us must be in writing and sent to us at Walton Furniture Ltd. Office 29 Clifton House Fitzwilliam Street Lower Dublin 2 Ireland


If you would like to return your purchased goods, we are happy to arrange a refund or an exchange, provided that the items where not pre-ordered or customized and that we are notified of your wishes within 7 days of receipt of delivery. We will refund the sum paid for the goods, excluding a 20% restocking fee and any original and return delivery charges, within 30 days of your cancellation.

The original packaging must be unopened and undamaged in a resalable condition. If you fail to do so we reserve the right to refuse the refund or deduct a charge which will be no more than 30% of the price of the goods from your refund as we will not be able to sell those goods on at full price.


These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Irish law and the Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes.


These Terms and Conditions, together with out current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorized representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. The company accepts responsibility under these terms and conditions for its commitment to you.


Walton Furniture Ltd. only collects personal information from online visitors on a voluntary basis, and only during registration or placing an order. Visitors purchasing goods and services online will need to provide a valid credit or debit card number and expiration date, in addition to their name, mailing address, telephone number (your telephone number may be given to our courier), and email address. These details allow us to process your order and to let you know the status of your order.


We will only collect personally identifiable information to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to serve out legitimate business purposes, and we will maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the information you have provided us with. By using this site, you signify your consent to the A Modern World Ltd Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use this site. We reserve the right to make changes to this policy.

When you place an order with us using our secure online order form and web browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Firefox or Netscape's Navigator, the order is encrypted. The use of SSL encryption scrambles data sent from the browser to the www.waltonfurniture.com server in a way that only Walton Furniture Ltd.can access.
